Yard Option Settings for Transfers

In SDX 3.2.1 Yard-to-Yard transfers are now created the same way that New Shipments are created. More information on Yard-to-Yard Transfers can be found on the Transfers page. To set your system up for this, you'll have to change some things in your Yard Options.

From the Main Scrap Dragon screen, click on .

Then click on .

Then select Show All in the bottom left of the screen to display all Yards at your company.

Select the Yard you wish to edit.

For Transfers to be set up correctly, Scrap Dragon has to register your yard as a Customer, which just means that your yard can send and receive shipments.

Now that you've selected the Yard you wish to edit, select the Program Options tab on the left hand side of the screen.

Select the "SaveasCustomerLabel" check box and make sure it's checked. Then save.

Now, when you wish to create a new Yard-to-Yard Transfer you will create a New Shipment or Contract, you can select your yard as a customer and Scrap Dragon will register that you are creating a Yard-to-Yard transfer.

You will have to repeat this process for other yards that will be sending and receiving transfers.
